Wednesday Worship

This song came on the radio as I was doing errands yesterday.  It reminded me again about the importance of praying for our children and families.  But the biggest impression I was left with was exactly the lyrics to this song.  Prayer isn't instantaneous results.  Sometimes it take years of praying for the Almighty to say "yes".  I love that this song reminds us that waiting should be active.  We don't stop worshiping.  We don't stop serving.  We press on as we wait on the Lord's answers.  Enjoy the song.

While I'm Waiting
John Waller

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience

While I’m waiting
I will serve You
While I’m waiting
I will worship
While I’m waiting
I will not faint
I’ll be running the race
Even while I wait

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it’s not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait

I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting on You, Lord
