The Relevant Conference and Twitter

I am very excited about two awesome things I have discovered:  The Relevant Conference and Twitter!

The Relevant Conference is a place to connect kindred hearts; to enjoy sweet and fruitful fellowship; to engage one another in sharing, inspiring, and learning, and to figure out how to integrate our lives fully with our faith and family…all the while glorifying Him amidst this blogging tidal wave.  Doesn't that sound awesome?

The conference is in October in Pennsylvania and I REALLY want to be there!  Why?  For some reason I have yet to fully identify, I am really into this blogging thing!
~I love sharing with others what life is like here with my family and also some things I have learned along the way that may be able to help others 
~I love the community that blogging creates
~I love getting to know people from all over the country 
~I love seeing into the lives of other Christian women and knowing I am not alone in this crazy world!
~I love seeing how others handle difficulty and joy
~I love and respect those who have the gift of leadership and teaching and are willing to share it with others
~I love seeing the creativity that flows through all of us come out in so many different ways
~I love seeing the uniqueness that God has created in all of us
~I love that so many women are willing to share their hearts with complete strangers like me
~I love that most moms are crazy about their kids and will take photos of them doing EVERYTHING
~I love that they make me think
~I love that they make me laugh
~I love that they make me cry
~I love that they make me examine my walk with my Lord
~I love that they are opening up their lives to Glorify God through blogging

So what does Twitter have to do with this?  I admit it, I was a Twitter Snob for a long time.  I just didn't get it!  Call me a slow learner, but look what I have discovered in just one week on Twitter!
~Over 80 crazy people are following me!  Go figure....and I don't even say that much, I mostly listen
~Those amazing women who are blogging about their lives are also on Twitter
~You can win all kinds of stuff on Twitter

I could probably list 10 more, but I think you see what I mean!  And they are all going to be at Relevant! I want to learn from them, get to know them,  study with them, laugh with them, and worship with them.

I'm still a newbie at this blogging thing, and I have a lot to learn.  But I know one thing, I want to be involved in Glorifying God through blogging.  Will you join me?
