The Relevant Experience #4

Although I didn't intend to reflect the entire week on Relevant, that is the direction my heart has been so I just stuck with it.

I do want to add some caution to all of my fellow Relevant attendees:  God was doing a huge work in all of us, as is evident by the many outstanding posts about our experiences.  But remember, Satan is prowling around like a lion, looking for someone to devour.   Don't let it be you.

We have learned much and been inspired beyond our wildest dreams to affect this earthly kingdom for our King.  Satan is not happy.  Be aware of his tactics to bring you down off your high of the conference and throw many obstacles in your path.  When your heart grows faint and problems arise go back and read through your notes to remind yourself of all that God has placed on your heart.  Don't allow Satan's voice to be louder than God's.

I don't write this only as a reminder to you, but as a reminder to me as well.

God bless!

  2. I've already been very aware when he's rearing his head since the return. We had an awful drive back one of the three days on our trip home - everything that could go wrong did. However, I'm praying in the offensive and trusting God's plan for us. I feel peace and see bright things in the future. ;)

  3. Thanks for the reminder! I know that God is still working in my heart and soul, and I need to focus on letting Him work, not letting Satan overwhelm me and distract me.

  4. You are so right. I've been feeling it too. And I've been praying for protection for all of the wonderful sisters that were there last weekend.

  5. So true, our enemy is always on the prowl, and he is never happy when we are growing in our love for the Lord. He hates that we want to spread the light of the Gospel and the love of Christ with a dying and hurting world... We need to keep our eyes on Him, always.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. -James 4:7
