The Lord nudged me that day to hand him some money. I reached into my wallet and pulled out a $5 bill. It wasn't much, but it would buy a fast food meal.
Did anyone else give help that day to this stranger? I'll never know. But I hope my $5 made a difference.
Can $5 make a difference elsewhere? Will it buy a village a clean water supply? Will it bring food to a feeding center? Will it buy vaccinations for children?
My $5 alone? No. But added to your $5, and someone elses $5, and others $5, soon we have accumulated hundreds of dollars.
But if we don't start to give, one at a time, nothing happens.
and the poor remain hungry
and the poor remain naked
and the poor remain ravaged by disease
Would you take action today?
Would you add your $5 or $10 to mine and others to make a difference?
