I love photos of trees. I don't know what it is, but they always capture my attention. I took this photo about 3 years ago and spent over 30 minutes searching the archives to find it. I knew it would be a good one to play with heavier textures. I even downloaded this cool Crumpled Paper action this week that I absolutely love. It gave the background the coolest look of parchment paper!
I know some of you like to know the recipe, but honestly I did so many things to this photo, I don't think I could record it all. Mostly because some of it was brand new to me! But I LOVE that I am learning so much in Kim Klassen's Beyond Layers class. If you've never taken it, I highly recommend it.
Thanks for visiting today!
Well, how ever you created it - this is one beautiful piece of photo art. But it does lack one important thing ... your signature! Claim and protect your art!! Thanks so much for sharing this image with Photo Art Friday, Cherie.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bonnie. I have corrected that grievous error!!! For some reason I always forget that important detail!!!
DeleteI love pictures of trees, too! Great edit.
ReplyDeleteLove trees. Thanks for sharing!

Cherie this is very lovely. As you can see from my post, I am also drawn to trees. Love the crumpled paper texture that you chose for this! I am in Beyond layers also, but a bit behind. Great class

ReplyDeleteStunning work! I love whatever it was you have done!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! - That is a fabulous tree photo (glad to know I'm not the only one who has to search Archives for photos - I've since started labeling the folders with a basic of what's in them for future reference). - Love the texture you used.
ReplyDeleteOh this is just fabulous and I love pictures of trees too. I took one last week that I have been having fun with. Thanks for the link to crumpled paper! Love it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot and very well processed!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend:)
So many times I waste my time looking for a picture that I took a few months or years ago and I don't know where to find it. I am so bad in storing my pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you've found it because it's a beautiful piece. Love your processing!
This is totally, totally wonderful!
